    ...but I was wrong. I have enjoyed several pairs of walking and running shoes over the years, and a nice pair of boots for the winter. This was the first time that I bought a pair of sneakers that are designated for hiking. They're great: good support, water proof uppers, a sole with more traction, and a little more rugged.
