    The width of these shoes are great. The are the only shoes I have ever found that don't squeeze the sides of my feet. The only thing that could make them better is to include insoles that are made for flat-footed people. I had to toss the insoles and buy my own.

    ...but I was wrong. I have enjoyed several pairs of walking and running shoes over the years, and a nice pair of boots for the winter. This was the first time that I bought a pair of sneakers that are designated for hiking. They're great: good support, water proof uppers, a sole with more traction, and a little more rugged. My new favorite!
