How to Properly Use Your Arch Boosters and Spacers
Optimize the fit for maximum comfort. This quick guide will show you how to correctly insert the arch boosters and spacers. This way, you can customize the support for your feet and relieve pressure exactly where it matters most.
Clever Accessories for Your Well-being
With most models, we include an Arch Booster and Fitting Spacers directly with the shoes. They ensure better support and a customized fit. You can flexibly combine both elements to get the most out of your shoes.
-
The Arch Booster:
Do you need additional support? Simply place the Arch Booster under the removable insole. It provides noticeable arch support and relieves pressure on the heel and forefoot.
-
The Fitting Spacers:
Are your shoes a little too wide, or does your heel slip? Our removable spacers perfectly adjust the internal volume of the shoe. They not only provide additional, comfortable cushioning but also specifically relieve heel spurs or plantar fasciitis through a special heel cutout. We provide two different thicknesses for your individual fit.
Step-by-Step Instructions
How to insert the Arch-Booster:
- Step 1: Stand up straight with both feet pointing forward. Look down to locate your arch. This is the curved area on the inside of the sole of your foot, running from the heel to the big toe.
- Step 2: Remove the insole from the shoe and place the Arch-Booster inside. The long, curved side of the booster must lie against the inside of the shoe – exactly where your arch needs support.
- Step 3: Push the Arch-Booster all the way back into the heel area.
- Step 4: Place the regular insole back over the Arch-Booster. Give your feet some time: it can take 3 to 4 days to get used to the new, healthier alignment of your foot and leg. It's best to try the shoes with and without the booster to find your personal comfort level.
How to use the Adjustment Inserts (Spacers):
- Step 1: Take out the orthopedic insole and place the thinner, blue spacer (1.6 mm) into the shoe. Then simply place the insole back on top of it.
- Step 2: Is the shoe still too loose? Replace the blue spacer with the thicker, green spacer (3.2 mm).
- Step 3: If the shoe is still too wide, you can also place both spacers (green and blue) together under the insole.
